At the age of 35, he began a search for more information about his family history and his biological roots. Foster Child documents this very personal journey. It is a painfully slow one marked by frequent frustrations and small, bittersweet victories, but Cardinal proceeds with the persistence of a private detective and the determination of a journalist.
